We are looking forward to seeing you at the Action in Media Education summit at Sacred Heart University, our fifth international media education summit!
For those who need directions (from the airport or if traveling by car), visit Sacred Heart’s page on visiting the university.
If you are traveling by air, the nearest airport is Bradley International. Some attendees may wish to fly in to one of the New York City airports (sometimes a better deal) and take a train from NYC to Fairfield. In any case, you will probably want to rent a car so that you do not have to rely on taxis to get around during the summit.
If attendees want to discuss sharing transport and lodging for the conference, the comments function on this page is live; that forum might provide an excellent way to start the conversation.
For those already considering travel and lodging, accommodations options are listed below.
Accommodations and Transportation
Summit participants will arrange their own accommodations and transportation. Following are suggestions for local lodging (both under 15 minutes away by car) and dining options. Rooms have been reserved for the summit in both hotels on April 15 and April 16; when you register for the summit, we will supply you with the code you will need to receive the special rate.

If anyone wants to carpool, I am flying from Los Angeles and looking to save money. Thanks, Jeff
